After two years, the Loch Shiel Festival is back!
This year’s festival features an array of the country’s most exciting artists, who will place a particular focus on under-represented voices in history and the present day.
New works by many of Scotland’s leading composers including Ollie Hawker, Sally Beamish, Esther Swift, The Maxwell Quartet, Rachel Walker, and many others sit alongside works by under-represented composers such as Elizabeth Maconchy and Rebecca Clarke, and more well-known names including Beethoven, Purcell and Grieg.
This year, we’re celebrating the Fluxus Group - an experimental 1960s performance art movement which still continues to provoke and inspire artists today. Come along - be inspired, and be experimental!
