Jonathan Shearer Exhibition at Resipole Studios

For his latest exhibition, Inverness-shire based artist Jonathan Shearer made repeat expeditions into the mountains of Lochaber and Torridon. Armed with only a tent, his sketchbooks, a few small canvasses and a box of artist materials, he set off to capture the essence of the landscape of these regions. The resulting work forms his impressive solo show Land of Mountain and Flood at Resipole Studios Fine Art Gallery. Opening on Sunday 5th September at 11am, this huge body of work is on display in the venue’s main gallery space and online until Friday 15th October 2021.
