NEW Energy Club launched for Scottish Businesses o

Tuesday 25th August 2009

A new way of purchasing Commercial Electricity and Gas will result in significantly lower energy prices for Scottish Businesses taking part in this scheme.

The launch this week of the "Scottish Business Energy Club" will enable any Scottish business, regardless of size, to benefit from BULK BUYING of gas and electricity through the Energy Club.

In the current economic climate it is more important than ever for businesses to ensure they obtain the ‘best deal possible’ for outgoings and overheads. Utilities generally represent a substantial part of business expenditure and any cost reductions that can be achieved should be welcomed.

This is why the ‘Scottish Business Energy Club’ has been launched and is the first of its kind in Scotland and possibly the UK.

It is a well know fact that businesses in Scotland are paying far higher rates than the rest of the UK and the launch of The Scottish Business Energy Club will address this imbalance and possibly reverse the trend.

HOW DOES IT WORK? - normally all business utility contracts are dealt with on an individual basis. The Energy Club will set up a COMMON CONTRACT END DATE for all of its' members and when this date approaches the Clubs 'TOTAL ENERGY CONSUMPTION' will be used when tendering for rates from the energy suppliers. The result will be significant savings for all Energy Club Members.
