whale watching and soup update
Good day today, porpoises Sunart & Muck, Common and Grey Seals, Minke Whales Treshnish, lots of birds on the water, pair of eagles off Ardnamurchan point, unconfirmed report of Basking Sharks in the Sound of Mull AND all (but one cup) of soup gone - Graeme is leading on the "soup maker" championship.. Come on Andy!!!

whale watching
1st whale watching trip of the season away today. In spite of not quite perfect weather a good day was had by all. The day started with a good sighting of a Sea Eagle whilst heading west across the Sound of Mull. Puffins, Geese and diving Gannets were seen. At the Cairns of Coll Grey and (not so common)Common seals were about both on the rocks and in the water. Lovely to be back on the Island of Muck followed by an excellent sighting of porpoises just west of Risga on the return journey. We have 2 trips planned next week, Treshnish Isles and Whale watching to the Cairns of Coll and Muck. We are thinking of holding an "in house" soup challenge as the making of the best soup is getting quite competitive! If you had good soup on one of our trips - let us know!!!
